Berried Treasure Dessert

This recipe is SO DELICIOUS!  In fact just posting this makes me want to go make some more.  My friend Kristy delivered this yummy dessert to our door for no reason at all....she is awesome.  Well, it was devoured in about 5 minutes and the next day I was knocking on the door asking for the recipe.  We went straight to the store and bought the ingredients to make more.  Needless to say, my hubby was SO excited to come home from a busy day and find more of this delicious berried treasure dessert.  I hope you like it as much as us!

Berried Treasure Dessert:
Crust:
1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs (1.5 packages)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter-melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.  Press Firmly in a 9x13 baking dish and bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees.  Let crust cool.

Filling:
8 oz cream cheese - softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 T plus 2.5 cups of cold milk
16 oz cool whip-thawed
1 pint of strawberries-halved
1 pint blueberries
2 packages of 3.4 oz vanilla instant pudding

Beat cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar and 2 T milk until smooth; fold in 8 oz of cool whip.  Spread this mixture over the cooled crust and arrange berries on top.  Mix the pudding packages and 2.5 cups of milk and beat for 1-2 minutes.  Pour the pudding mixture over the berries and chill for several hours.  Spread with the remaining cool whip before serving.
