I always have the hardest time trying to find a cute and modest swimsuit. Once again Iv'e found myself searching for the perfect suit. In my search I have found some cute suits and some fun websites that I wanted to share with you...as I am sure you will be in search of one sometime soon. Here is what I've found:
1- Shade Clothing- basic yet cute available in solids or patterns, priced around $30 for top, $54 for one piece.
2- Lime Ricki - fun patterns with retro look, priced around $45 for top, $62 for one piece.
3- Downeast - 10 styles to pick from, about $37 for top.
4- Modbe Clothing - 11 styles to pick from. Tankinis run about $50 for top and $30 for bottom, $50 for one piece.
5- Divina Sole - $99 to design your own suit, super cute styles! This is by far my favorite site although I'd wait for the $69 sale.
6- Rey Swimwear - Fun and hip suits, anywhere from $50 -$80.
7- Hapari - Lots of tankinis to pick from priced around $50 for top.
8- Popina Swimwear - Retro swimsuits priced $60-$99.
9- Old Navy/Gap - A few modest suits priced around $40.
10- Landsend - Lots of tanks and one pieces.
11- Target - Huge selection of suits under $50.
12- Kohls - Huge selection online and in store.
13- JCPenny - Huge selection online and in store.

A brand new addition to swim wardrobes:
ReplyDeletewww.swimshells.com
Cover ups made of swimsuit fabric so moms can keep them on when they're corralling the kids!
So I didn't realize you had this awesome blog! This is exactly what I'm hoping to get mine to look like one day :).
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm so happy you have links to those swimsuit sites. I have been putting off looking for a new one because I just hate swimsuit shopping, but this will help!
JC Penny has some great suits this year that are only $18 for tops. I didn't love their bottoms, but found some at Kohls that I liked.
ReplyDeleteI bought a Divinita sole swimming suit on their sale a couple months ago and LOVE it! I got the high waist slimming bottoms and they hide my baby pooch perfectly. I saw them at Costco for a big discount.
ReplyDeleteI would add Athleta.com and Titlenine.com to your list!
ReplyDeleteDo u know when the $69 sale normally is for the divinita sole suits??
ReplyDeleteI know they just had a sale in February! I keep hoping for another sale but haven't seen one since. I would guess they do 2/year but really don't know.
ReplyDeleteI second the Land's End, and now that Sears carries their line, it is even easier to find one. Although, they do run on the high side. I got one at the end of last season for $45, that was a heavy discount. The best thing about them is that they carry small sizes. If I hear, "If I was a tiny as you, I'd show my body off." one more time, I'm going to slap somebody. I'm not modest because I'm ashamed of my body. I'm modest because I respect it.
ReplyDeleteI've got three Hapari suits and one on the way, ordered today. LOVE the fit, especially in the bust which is usually too small for me on tankini tops. I got 15% off with the code SHOP2012.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your finds! It's always fun to find something you love, especially when it comes to swimsuit shopping!!!
ReplyDeleteLandsEnd Suits are AWESOME! Get yourself a nice solid timeless design and you will have it for YEARS. Very durable. Bought one on clearance 3 years ago. Still looks brand new and very flattering to the mom bod.

I have found that the best for me is LandsEnd or Athletica. They are some of the few websites that make suits in different bra sizes and extra length, which is important when your tall and busty! LandsEnd has a lot of sales too which is great, I got my last suit for $16!

ReplyDeleteMy friend told me about "Hapari." There swimsuits are great but before I ever buy online I always make sure I check out local stores first. I went today to "Macey's at Victoria Garden's" and thought the sale price was $58.50 for the top well I got it for $39.00 and and additional 10% off. I couldn't be happier especially when you need to try things on.
